Designed as a luxurious secluded hideaway, Kauri Cliffs sits on the eastern tip of New Zealand's Northland, with cliffs falling 150 metres to the Pacific. While the main infinity pool is chlorinated freshwater, the villas have saltwater pools tucked into private terraces, each one positioned for an uninterrupted view across the Cavalli Islands.
It's so quiet you can hear the Pacific breaking on the rocks below. Swim to the accompaniment of birdsong in the morning or relax poolside in the evening as the gentle colors of dusk are reflected in the water.
