A double ocean rock pool on Sydney's Northern Beaches, free and open around the clock.
Mona Vale's rock pool sits at the southern headland of the beach, paired side-by-side with a smaller children's pool. The Tasman flushes both at high tide.
Built in the 1930s and maintained by the council, it's a fixture of the Northern Beaches' rock-pool ring from Palm Beach down to Manly.
