The pool
A rugged ocean-fed rock pool on the Bondi-to-Coogee coastal walk, free to swim year-round.
Carved into the rocks at the southern end of Bronte Beach in the 1880s, the Baths fill and flush with the Tasman Sea. There's no entry fee and no opening hours; locals swim before dawn and after work.
Big swells wash straight over the lane ropes, so check the conditions and the tide before you slip in.
