The pool
A serene saltwater pool tucked among cypress alleys and Renaissance gardens of Tuscany.
Designed in 1680 by Carlo Fontana for Cardinal Flavio Chigi, Villa Cetinale sits in the Tuscan hills west of Siena, its baroque façade flanked by formal gardens. The pool is a discreet later addition, hidden behind a wall of cypress and integrated seamlessly into the landscape of rolling hills
The estate now operates as a private rental, so book the whole villa and the pool is yours alone. Soak in the pool in the morning scented with lavender, after a long lunch under the pergola, or during the romantic fading light of a Tuscan evening.
