Petit Ermitage is a small members-and-guests-only hotel on a quiet block above Sunset, built around a rooftop garden that has slowly evolved into a working butterfly sanctuary. The pool sits at the centre of it — a small saltwater rectangle ringed by lavender, citrus, and an outdoor fireplace that runs into the early hours.
The water is salt-filtered and gently heated; the rule is no music after dark and no phones on the deck. From the loungers, the Hollywood sign hovers in the haze to the north.
