The pool
A palm-fringed saltwater pool a few steps from the powdered sand of Friendship Bay.
Bequia is the kind of Grenadine island you reach by ferry and then never quite want to leave. The hotel's saltwater pool overlooks Friendship Bay, a long curve of pale sand with one rum bar at the far end.
Days here move slowly. Pool, sea, lunch, sea, pool, sundowner. The pool is heated only by the sun, which on Bequia is usually enough.
