Private villa pools terraced down a hillside on Koh Samui's quiet southwestern tip, facing the Gulf of Thailand.
The Conrad sits on a steep hillside above the small bay of Taling Ngam, with each villa stepped down the slope for an unobstructed sea view. The pools are long and narrow, infinity-edged, and oriented due west — the sun sets directly into the Gulf in front of you.
There are 80 villas spread across the property and yet the design is generous enough that you rarely see another guest. Swim, read, and watch the long-tail boats come in to the next bay over.
