The pool
A saltwater pool tucked into the Ubud rainforest at Bill Bensley's tented hideaway above the Wos Valley.
Capella Ubud is a luxury tented camp in the Balinese jungle, designed around the river valley rather than against it. The pool runs along the ridge with a long view over the canopy.
Saltwater is the right call here — soft on the skin after a day of trekking the rice paddies, and easier to maintain in the humidity than chlorine.
